The Favorites:

ELF Tone Correcting concealer - Spice: This is one of my favorite concealers for concealing and highlighting a the same time. It works perfectly under my eyes to highlight in a 'V' and is even amazing under my eyebrows down my nose and any other area I want to add brightness to! ELF has definitely changed the formula from when I bought this a while ago. The formula is much more long wearing and thicker which makes for better coverage. That said, this is still a very light coverage concealer, not something you could fully cover a blemish. This is a good product for a concealer and highlighter look where you still want dimension in your face. It also works well with other liquid face products.

MAC Select cover-up concealer - NC 45: My favorite concealer during the summer for covering blemishes must be this MAC concealer. The reason I say summer is because this concealer only matches me in the summer. When I travel, this is the concealer of choice because it works well on blemishes but also is not too heavy for under the eyes. Come winter, I'm going to try NC 42 for a match but I have the feeling it might be too light. The only thing I might say about this concealer is that it can lean orange.

Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Palette - Warm #2: I found this concealer while looking for an alternative for the Makeup Forever concealer palate and I am very glad I decided to buy it! I love that it has multiple shades that i can go between and mix and match to find my perfect shade. I use the third color for under my eyes and to cover blemishes and I use the second color to highlight around my brows. The last 2 darkest shades I use as a cream contour and the lightest shade I use as an eye shadow base. Basically, i have a use for every shade! I will make a full review for this soon because there is really so much to say!

The Not-So Favorites:

Cover Girl Queen Natural Hue Liquid concealer - Light: This concealer has been in my collection for a long time and I haven't thrown it away because I honestly have been trying to like it. When you first put this concealer on it goes on very liquidy and patchy. It actually evens out and turns matte as it dries but it also gets darker as it dries. As you go throughout your day it seems to convert directly into oil and wherever you put the concealer you have a shiny spot. The brings me to the other thing about this concealer, that it has no staying power whatsoever! Thumbs down for me.

Sleek Cosmetics Luminaire concealer - L03: My mom bought me this concealer on a trip to London! Thanks Mom! Too bad it doesn't work for me :(. This concealer is the type of concealer that you would think would be good for under your eyes as it is a highlighting concealer, but that is not the case! This concealer is too thick and unblendable to be anything useful to your eyes. The consistency needs to be thinner. I haven't tried this on blemishes but its too light for the rest of my face and why would I want to highlight a blemish??
UPDATE: I really like the peach undertone this concealer has as it helps a lot with my dark circles however, the thick nature of the products causes me to pull on my eyes and I  still have a problem with that.

MAC Select Coverup Concealer - NC 45

MAC Select Cover-up Concealer: NC 45

My favorite concealer up to date is definitely this concealer. I was matched at the Mac store for NC 45. When the the guy tried it on me it was perfect! I loved the shade, i loved the coverage and I loved the feel. I may have been a little over excited with this being my first MAC concealer purchase, but hey ;) 

I must say though, I am never going to the MAC counter again. The store is fine its just the counter. I feel like they treated me badly because of my age (i'm 16 and I will be 17 in one month!) So, skip them. I'm going to the store from now on.

I have been able to use this product in multiple ways:

 - As a concealer under my eyes applied with a pointed blending brush,

 - mixed with my moisturizer as a tinted moisturizer

 -  mixed with my primer as a tinted primer 

 - and on blemishes. 

Favorite use? Undereyes!

~$18 for .33 FL OZ

This has become an everyday product for me for under my eyes. It also covers blemishes well but thank God i haven't had any in a while! I use the Sonia Kashuk pointed blending brush to blend it over the under eye area and it has been nothing but perfect. It also applies just fine with my fingers. It dries to a more matte finish and stays put! Ive been using this for a good 2 weeks now and even without being set with powder it doesn't crease and it stays put!

 One small drop goes a longgg way!

**UPDATE: One thing I might say is that this concealer might be drying for those who have dry skin around their eyes and if you are trying to cover a flaky blemish or the area of skin covered is dry, it will not hesitate to accentuate the dryness. Make sure you moisturize first!

I love, love, love this concealer, I plan to try other Mac concealers in the future, but I think my next mac purchase will be a lipstick!

Elf Complexion Brush: Great brush for light bronzer or contouring and blush. Also great for touch ups. It came with a plastic brush protector thing that i put it in and slip it right into my bag along with my Elf Complexion perfection! ~$3

 Sonia Kashuk Large Crease Brush: The smaller of the 2 brushed shown. Awesome for blending eyeshadow and pointed so i can put shadow on my lower lashline and inner corner as well! ~$4.99

Sonia Kashuk Pointed Blending Brush: I must pick up another of these! Awesome for blending eyeshadow in the crease AND for applying concealer! If you love applying concealer with a blending brush rather than your standard concealer brush you'll love this. ~$3.99

Ruby Kisses Jellicious Gloss in Cotton Candy: Light milky toned pink, mostly clear on the lips but moisturizing and a great gloss! Also smells and tastes like candy! Not necessarily cotton candy though. I plan to pick up other colors. Review here!

L.A. Colors Lipliner in Rose Brown: My go to my-lips-but-better color! A matte, rosey brown and it looks so natural on me! I absolutely love it and its AUTOMATIC! woohooo! I combine it with a lipbalm to keep my lips from drying out.

Mac Select Cover-up Concealer (NC 45): My favorite concealer of all time. Love it for undereyes blended with my Sonia Kashuk pointed blending brush. Wonderful color and def worth the price tag!

Ruby Kisses HD Cream Eyeliner in Dark Brown: Awesome gel eyeliner that I've been using everyday. SUPER long wearing, convinient little pot but I wont be buying black because the WNW black cream eyeliner is my all time favorite :)

Covergirl Mascara: I forget which one this is...its the orange one and strangely it came with a purple cap. So, I don't know what thats about. This is my second tube of this stuff and it works nice, but def not my favorite. Still looking for my all time favorite mascara! Any suggestions??

Mac Fix + Review

Yay! Ok, so the day I got my new glasses my dad and I were at the mall and of course we were passing by a Mac counter and I HAD to stop. I had never bought Mac products before and I just so happen to have some money on me, so.....

I guess I should say that this is my first Mac product ever. I am hoping to try one of their eyeshadows but UDPP is next on my list so I have to wait.

Anywho, to the REVIEW!!

Just because I am so excited about this let me just say, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I feel like there are a THOUSAND USES for this and I really feel like it was worth my money :)

Packaging:

 The packaging can basically be described as awesome :) Not cheap AT ALL. It feels strong and durable and looks cool and awesome and stuff.

ALSO: Its a pump spray, and you can twist it to lock it.

I know I'm not going to in depth with the packaging part of this product but I just cant think of any thing bad to say.

PRODUCT:

Ok, so its obviously a liquid product, for about $21 including tax you get 100 ML or 3.4 US FL OZ. It has a 24 month shelf life...which really does not matter because you will use it up in like a few months.

One thing about it is the smell, it smells very floral and its so beautiful and addicting and AHHHHH feeling. Its smells so frickin good.

I have been using this for about a month or so now and I have only used a tiny bit and i use it almost everyday!!

USES:

Ok, this is my favorite part. This is in no particular order :)

1. Aftershave: no not your face ladies, your LEGS. It makes your legs feel so soft and smooth and not dry :)) Though if you keep it up you will run out fast and also, lotion does the same thing :)

2. Skin Refresher: This is one of the uses it says on the bottle, Its true, it does in fact refresh your skin and it makes you look all dewy as if you like just washed your face and its all clean :)

3. Finishing Mist: Another use mentioned on the bottle. The lady at the Mac counter said that you cound use this before applying your makeup or after, or both. IDK if 'finishing' means 'setting' though. Like, I don't know if this is supposed to set your makeup but I have been using it on top of my powder and my makeup does stay all day, and it used to mysteriously disappear over the course of the school day.

4. MYSTERIOUSLY SMOOTH for powder users: If you use a mineral foundation, blush, concealer or just anything in general that is in powder form you probably notice that when you are finnished there is kind of a powdery look to your face. What I do, is I either spray this directly onto my face or I take a brush and I distribute it across my face both over and under my powder and I swear my skin looks like there is nothing on it, still with the benefits of the makeup.

5. Mixing Medium: When I was at the Mac counter I asked the lady if this would make my eyeshadows more vibrant. She said yes but I didn't need to use this good stuff, as she put it, for something like that, she said I could just use water but I still use it to make shadows more vibrant but also to make my foundation stick creamier and lighter to apply under my eyes and for blemishes.

ALSO if you have a loose pigment that you would like to foil, that comes in handy as well :)

6. Reviver: Im not really much into mascara but I do have some mascara that dried out about a week after I opened it and its the only mascara that I really like so i tried reviving it with my Fix + and it did work quite well. I have also heard of people using this to revive other things such as their paint pot.

7. Blending Cream foundations: spray this on your brush while applying foundation for a more flawless look!

And Im sure there are others BUT these are the only ones I have used it for.

Awesome. So, thats my review, if I totally left something out just lemme know and I will add it. I am in the process of making my own homemade fix + to compare it to the actual one.

UPDATE: I have finished this product and I have determined that the homemade one you make with glycerin and water is almost the same. It does the same thing anyway. The one thing that I can only get from the MAC version is the SMELL. I am addicted to the smell.
